Hi, I'm a new comer, and want to say hi to everyone here!
I've a question regarding olive oil. Last week I went to a friend's party, and ate some wonderful food prepared with olive oil. After that I wanted to buy some for myself, but wasn't sure how to tell the difference between soooo many choices. Could you say something about the many different olive oil? Thanks!

Hi. it makes me happy to know more and more people discover what olive oil ca n do to food...takes it to another level like nothing else can do. Best and safer way to get good olive oil unless you leave in greece and have your own orchard, is to buy organic olive oil. whole foods and trader joe have good quality oil, bit expensive but is worth investing in natural and healthy products than food industry made dressings and such. would like to hear back about your "olive oil cooking".

I now wonder did I really answer your question...go for the extra virgin one. if you to a greek village where people get their olives to the press and the liquid gold is extracted...they know only one quality of olive oil...the original is the best.

Hi, Eleni~~Sorry I forgot to login until now, but thank you so much for the advice on olive oil.
Yeah, the price has been the only reason that holds me back. But now i see why they are expensive.
I bought a bottle last week from super market, and used it to make some chicken as I your recipe in another thread. But it didn't taste any special. Guess that's because it's not the extra virgin one?
